Looks like the CCAA finished the review of both May and June 2007 in record time. May 2007 is when the new rules for who could apply to adopt from China were implemented and since a LOT of people were shut out, there is speculation that the numbers of people who applied were significantly less than previous months. I guess that means they can get through the Review pretty quickly. Seems odd that they are reviewing people who may not get a referral for many more years, but I guess progress is progress.
And my agency posted that matching was complete and that referrals should be mailed soon! Thank goodness. It appears that the swine flu may still be impacting the rate of referrals since they are coming out less frequently. I know the timing of referrals always varies a bit, but the last couple of months have seemed extraordinarily slow.
Here's hoping for a BIG batch!!!!
