Happy New Year

Christmas is over and frankly, I'm glad. It gets harder every year trying to pretend to enjoy it while I am stuck in this adoption Hell on Earth that seems like it is never going to end.

And this whole year was just kind of bad. Not my worst year, by far. But still, it wasn't great. So needless to say, I wasn't really in the holiday spirit. I didn't send Christmas cards. I didn't decorate my house. I ordered all my Christmas presents online because I couldn't stand the thought of having to be out in public with all the holiday decorations and music and such. So yeah, bah humbug. If you sent me a card, thank you. And just know that I didn't snub anyone in particular by not sending you a card in return. I snubbed everyone. So don't take it personally. :) Hopefully next year I will be in a better holiday mood.

So goodbye 2009 and hello 2010. Please be better.

I know exactly how you feel. I did the same thing this year; no tree, no cards, no shopping. It was ba-Humbug all the way around.

I hope 2010 is better for you.
