Homestudy Visit? Check!

Today my social worker drove down the 4 hours from her location to mine for my 3rd homestudy update visit of this adoption process. I felt terrible that she had to drive so far, but since she accepted me as a client (and I'm paying her a gob of money), I let that guilt go. LOL!

Anyway, it was short and sweet but I'm glad it's over. As soon as she finishes her revision of my homestudy, I'll send it along with another big giant check to USCIS for the THIRD renewal. I've already used my first free one, so this one requires payment. Can you hear the money being sucked out of my bank account? Sigh.

But she also signed my Medical Condition Checklist for the Waiting Child Program, which I'll be faxing in to my agency this week. That's the really good part of all of this.

All in all, progress is being made I suppose. I'm trying REALLY, REALLY hard to get in a better mood. The last few weeks (months really) have been less than pleasant, as my last few blog posts have shown. I'm not sure what "rock bottom" is but I think I may have hit it. Hopefully I'm on the upswing now.

I think we all go through those feelings Amy. I KNOW I have several times. This journey is such a roller coaster.

I hope this will be your last update and the upswing continues! :o)
